A support group aligned with the Barade political movement has congratulated the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi A. Sule, following his recent investiture as Patron by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement by Paul Okugya, Deputy Clerk of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, who wrote on behalf of Barade foot soldiers. The investiture ceremony took place in Abuja on Monday, March 23, 2026.
According to the statement, members of the group have remained loyal to the governor since his assumption of office, attributing their continued support to the trust and confidence he has earned among citizens of the state. The group described the honour as well deserved and commended the institute for recognising the governor’s public relations qualities, humility and interpersonal conduct.
The statement further assured that the Barade Circle would continue to stand by the governor, expressing optimism that his contributions to Nasarawa State would be remembered favourably.
Governor Abdullahi Sule is the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, having assumed office in 2019, with a background in engineering and affiliations to professional bodies including the Nigeria Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society.
