Hon. Chief Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi has congratulated Nentawe Yilwatda on his reaffirmation as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, describing his continued leadership as a steadying force for the party at a crucial time in the nation’s political landscape.
Reacting to the outcome of the party’s national convention held in Abuja, Adeyemi said the decision to return Yilwatda to office reflects the trust and confidence party members across the country have in his capacity to lead. She noted that such confidence is earned through consistency, discipline, and a clear sense of direction.
She observed that under his watch, the party has maintained cohesion, managing internal pressures while keeping its broader political objectives in view. According to her, leadership at that level demands not only administrative ability, but the temperament to listen, build consensus, and take responsibility when it matters.
The House of Representatives aspirant for Isin, Irepodun, Oke-Ero and Ekiti Federal Constituency said the reaffirmation of Yilwatda’s leadership presents an opportunity for the APC to deepen unity within its ranks and reinforce the structures needed to remain competitive and organised. She urged party members to see the moment as one that calls for renewed alignment and discipline.
Adeyemi further called for a sustained commitment to the ideals of the party, noting that Nigerians expect direction, stability, and governance that speaks to everyday realities. She said party leadership must remain conscious of that expectation and respond with clarity and purpose.
She also stressed the need for broader inclusion within the party, urging the national leadership to keep its doors open to women, young people, and emerging voices whose contributions are vital to its future.
While expressing confidence in Yilwatda’s ability to build on existing gains, Adeyemi urged him to stay focused on strengthening internal processes and maintaining the trust of party members across the country.
Hon. Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi holds the traditional titles of Yeyeluwa of Oke Onigbin Land and Iyalaje of Oke-Aba Town and is seeking election into the House of Representatives for Isin, Irepodun, Oke-Ero and Ekiti Federal Constituency.
