The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of a staff member of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Headquarters, Gwamkat Gwamzhi.
The Council described the passing of the respected broadcaster and media professional as a painful loss to the journalism profession, the FRCN family, and the nation at large.
According to a statement signed by the Secretary of the Council, Comrade Jide Oyekunle, Gwamzhi was a dedicated journalist who, through years of committed service at FRCN, contributed significantly to the growth of broadcasting and public information in Nigeria.
