Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Chris Najomo, has commissioned a new staff sickbay at the Authority’s corporate headquarters in Abuja.
Najomo commissioned the facility on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the presence of members of the NCAA management team and staff.
Those present included the Director, Air Worthiness Standards, Engr. Godwin Balang; Director, Special Duties, Dr. (Mrs.) Augustina Erah; and Director, Legal Services and Company Secretary, Barr. (Mrs.) Mary Tufano Eche, among other officials and staff of the Authority.
Speaking at the event, Najomo said the sickbay was established as part of the Authority’s commitment to the welfare of its staff.
He said the facility would provide essential first aid medical care to NCAA personnel.
“The establishment of the sick bay is not just a facility, but a demonstration of our deep commitment to the welfare and well-being of the staff,” Najomo said.
He added that the NCAA would continue to create an enabling and supportive environment for its workforce.
