The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), in collaboration with Swedfund and Ookla, is set to host the Nigeria Digital Connectivity Investment Forum in Abuja from September 29 to 30, 2026.
The two-day forum is expected to bring together policymakers, investors, development partners, technology companies and other stakeholders to discuss investment opportunities and strategies for expanding Nigeria’s digital connectivity infrastructure.
The forum comes at a time when Nigeria is seeking to deepen broadband access, improve digital inclusion and attract increased private-sector investment into telecommunications and the wider digital economy.
Swedfund, Sweden’s development finance institution, and Ookla, a global provider of connectivity intelligence and network performance data, are expected to contribute investment and data-driven perspectives to discussions on Nigeria’s connectivity needs and opportunities.
Discussions at the forum are expected to focus on ways to strengthen digital infrastructure, improve connectivity and create an investment environment capable of supporting wider access to reliable and affordable digital services.
The forum will also provide an opportunity for stakeholders to examine investment gaps in Nigeria’s connectivity infrastructure and discuss practical approaches to expanding access to digital services.
