President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has confirmed his attendance at the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 15 to 21, 2026.
Dangote gave the confirmation on Wednesday when he received in audience the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Prof. Justin Green, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku, and a delegation from the Institute.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the NIPR delegation to brief the business leader on the Forum and its importance to Nigeria and the African continent.
Dangote acknowledged the strategic relevance of the World Public Relations Forum, indicating his recognition of the significance of hosting the international gathering in Nigeria.
His confirmation of attendance is expected to add to the level of participation at the Abuja Forum, which is being organised to bring public relations and communication professionals together from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
The World Public Relations Forum is a major international gathering of public relations and communication professionals, with the Abuja edition expected to provide an opportunity for discussions on issues affecting the profession and its role in Nigeria, Africa and the wider global community.
The meeting with Dangote is part of the engagements by the NIPR and the Global Alliance as preparations gather momentum for the Abuja 2026 Forum.
