To mark President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 365 days in office as the President of Nigeria, a book titled ‘365 Days of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidency: Resetting The Strategic Foundation For A New Nigeria’ co-authored by reknown communication experts- Professors: Taiwo Ajibolu Balofin Ph.D and John Folayan Ph.D has been presented to the public on Tuesday in Abuja.
The two authors went down memory lane to x-ray Tinubu’s long political leadership journey, touching his masterstroke style of raising men and women of capacity across the country vis a vis his numerous achievements and sacrifices while waiting patiently for his turn as a kingmaker to also be made a king in order to deliver good democratic dividends amongst the citizenry.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume said, ” President Tinubu’s willingness to address issues such as the high cost of governance shows avowed commitment to reform Nigeria for development and stability as well as make strategic reforms in all sectors for a better future’. He further stated that: “quality leadership was about taking tough decisions and facing brutal fact!
Nigerians should support this administration. We are committed to overcoming the challenges we face in building a prosperous future.”
All Progressives Congress, National Chairman: Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje during his remark promised that there are better days ahead, urging Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu’s administration.
The Chief Unveiler of the book, Prince (Engr.) Arthur Eze’ OFR, during his remark asked Nigerians to support the government to forge ahead in delivering better service for the benefit of the Nigerians, he commended the two authors of the book for their great initiative.
Prince (Engr.) Eze, a reknown oil magnate with exceptional philanthropic inclination right from early childhood donated the sum of 20 million naira to pick 10 copies of the book amidst hearty cheers and thunderous applauses, he further enjoined the public to purchase the book and read for better understanding of the man- President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Professor Olalekan Akashoro, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin reviewed the book.
The event attracted many dignitaries, including His Royal Majesty: Oba (Dr.) Adefarakanmi Agbede, The Olowa of Igbara Oke Kingdom, Ondo State as the Royal Father of the Day, Hon.Tunde Doherty: Chairman, APC UK Chapter and Chairman, Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC), who delivered welcome address earlier praised the authors for highlighting Mr. President’s achievements, he stated that the book has revealed everything Asiwaju Bola Tinubu stood for- before, after, and now, and what the future should present, if you look at the TTT postulation in the book, that shows that all times you can measure performance, strategy and you can measure all important activities of the government, so it’s a great occassion today that this book was launched in consonance with 365 days of Mr President, I am so elated because it’s one of my Chairmen that co-authored the book, so it’s a great day for us in APC Hon.Doherty concluded.
