In a bold step towards ensuring the safety of its citizens, the Anambra State Government has demolished a building used as a hideout by kidnappers. The property, known as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also called “La Cruise Hotel,” was located along the Onitsha-Owerri Road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.

This action is part of Operation Udo Ga Achị,, an ongoing initiative launched by Governor Chukwuma Soludo to tackle insecurity in the state. Backed by the Agụnaehemba security network, the operation is aimed at flushing out criminal elements and restoring peace to communities across Anambra.

The government emphasized that it will not tolerate any establishment that serves as a safe haven for criminals. “This is about protecting the lives and livelihoods of Ndi Anambra. We will continue to act decisively to ensure peace and security in our state,” a government spokesperson stated.
