EBUKA ONUNKWO’S SENATE ASPIRATION GATHERS MOMENTUM AS MORE APGA POLITICAL HEAVYWEIGHTS RALLY BEHIND HIM

Chief (Dr) Ebuka Onunkwo’s senatorial bid, yesterday, received a significant boost as Dr Jude Emecheta, National Coordinator of Anambra Deserves Soludo (ADS) and former Executive Director of the Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency (ANSAA), withdrew from the senatorial race and endorsed Onunkwo for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket.

This endorsement is a testament to Chief Onunkwo’s growing popularity and acceptance within the APGA and Anambra South. Chief Emecheta’s decision to step down and support Onunkwo demonstrates his confidence in Chief Onunkwo’s ability to represent the people of Anambra South effectively. ‘I was neither contacted nor pressured by Chief Dr Ebuka Onunkwo, and no one asked me to step down for him; I am making this decision wholeheartedly to support a better candidate – someone who has long been dedicated to the welfare of the masses. The Chief Dr Ebuka Onunkwo I have known for long has made significant contributions to my Local Government (Ekwusigo), and in Anambra South, even before aspiring for the Senate. I firmly believe that, by God’s grace, his victory will bring effective and worthy representation to our people. He is humble, well-organised, and fully prepared for the task ahead’, Dr Jude Emecheta stated as he officially stepped down in support of Ebuka Onunkwo for senate.

Chief Onunkwo’s campaign has been gaining massive momentum, with various groups and individuals endorsing him. His message of hope and open-door representation resonates deeply with the people, who are eager for a leader that truly understands their needs.

As the APGA faithful await the date for the primaries of the party, Chief Onunkwo’s endorsement by Emecheta and several other vital stakeholders and support groups is expected to further strengthen his position as the frontrunner for the party’s ticket. With his impressive track record of philanthropy, community development, and leadership qualities, Onunkwo is poised to make a significant impact in the senatorial election by winning the ‘trophy’, if handed the ticket of the party.

As if in response to the previous day’s hatchet job by a faceless writer from an opposition camp masquerading as ‘APGA concerned stakeholders’, who exposed the jitters in their camp by lamenting the flood gate of endorsements that the media team of Chief Onunkwo has showcased in recent times and made failed attempts to twist the narrative, this particular endorsement by Chief Emecheta has sealed the lips of the naysayers and provided the icing on the cake and the pointer that the party is poised to present its strongest candidate for the by-election.

Flanked by the Chairman of its board of trustees and DG of Anambra State Internally Generated Revenue Service (AIRS), Hon. Greg Ezeilo, alongside the Secretary of the ADS, Hon. Afam Victor Enebeli, as well as APGA’s State Woman Leader, the National Coordinator of the ADS, stated emphatically that Chief Onunkwo has all it takes to deliver victory for APGA in the senatorial by-election, which will in turn serve as a stepping stone towards a smoother actualization of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s second term bid.

Chief Ebuka Onunkwo is increasingly emerging as the top contender for the Anambra South senatorial seat, as the people eagerly await the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to announce the timetable for the by-election. His popularity and acceptance within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Anambra South continue to grow, making him the candidate to beat.

With this development, Ebuka Onunkwo has made history as the first aspirant to have a co-aspirant step down in his favour and endorse him. This further underscores his undeniable capacity to deliver the full dividends of democracy to the people of Anambra South, if elected. Even his fellow aspirants recognise that he is the best fit for the job and have begun rallying behind his emergence.

Indeed, ODOZIOBODO IS COMING!
