NCAA and Airbus Partner to Boost Aviation Safety and Efficiency

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced a significant partnership with Airbus to enhance the safety and efficiency of the Nigerian aviation industry. The collaboration focuses on implementing Scheduled Maintenance Programme (MP) and Reliability Control Programme (RP) initiatives.

This development was highlighted during a 10-day workshop organized by the NCAA in collaboration with Airbus, which began on April 2, 2025, at the NCAA Lagos Regional Office Training Centre. The event brought together industry stakeholders to discuss best practices and strategies for improving aviation safety and efficiency.

NCAA Director-General, Capt. Chris Najomo, emphasized that this partnership is a continuation of the authority’s efforts to work with international institutions to achieve a safe, secure, economically-viable, and customer-centric aviation sector. The partnership aims to enhance the overall performance of the Nigerian aviation industry and align it with global standards.
