“Easter Message: PSC Chairman Urges Police to Uphold Integrity”

As Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd mni), has extended warm Easter greetings to Nigerians, particularly staff of the Commission and members of the Nigeria Police Force.

In his goodwill message, DIG Argungu emphasized the importance of the values of sacrifice, renewal, hope, and peace embodied in the Easter season, which align with the Commission’s commitment to fostering a disciplined and professional police force. He urged police officers to uphold the principles of integrity, fairness, and justice in their duties.

The PSC Chairman reaffirmed the Commission’s constitutional mandate of ensuring merit-based appointments, timely promotions, and accountability in discipline, aimed at strengthening public trust in the police. He called on Nigerians to support ongoing reforms in the Nigeria Police Force and work together towards a safer and better Nigeria.

DIG Argungu prayed that the Easter celebration would bring renewed faith in the collective pursuit of peace, security, and national unity. He wished Nigerians a joyful and blessed Easter celebration.
