The Customs boss reiterated the NCS’s resolve to sustain collaborative efforts to secure the nation’s territorial integrity, noting that actionable intelligence remains vital in disrupting illicit trade and safeguarding national interests.
Responding, Alhaji Yusuf Zakari, Officer in charge of Travel and Alien Control (TAC) Point at the Jibia Border Station, noted that his visit formed part of a wider familiarization tour and emphasized his agency’s readiness to deepen operational ties with the Customs Service. He commended the existing working relationship between both agencies and called for continued cooperation to achieve shared national security goals. “Our success hinges on how well we can coordinate and share intelligence,” Zakari said.
