“PSC Chair Lauds Workers’ Commitment, Pledges Support”

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has praised Nigerian workers for their dedication to national development and growth. In a press release signed by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, PSC Chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd mni, commended workers, particularly PSC staff and Nigeria Police Force officers, for their sacrifice and devotion to the nation’s unity and protection.

According to the PSC Chair, the workers’ efforts will not be in vain, as efforts are underway to ensure they reap the benefits of their commitment. He highlighted the Commission’s recent 4-day induction programme for new Board Members in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, which designed a pathway for flourishing police oversight and staff welfare.

DIG Argungu urged workers to remain committed to their duties, assuring that the Commission will ensure they enjoy the fruits of their labor. Argungu reiterated the need for workers to support government programmes and policies, and as public servants, be loyal to constituted authorities.

The PSC Chair further stated that supporting the government will enable it to deliver on its mandate and provide dividends of democracy. The Commission’s message marks a significant Workers’ Day celebration, recognizing the crucial role workers play in nation-building.
