President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, describing him as a “solution provider” during the commissioning of various legacy projects in the state. The projects, which showcase Soludo’s commitment to development, include the Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy, Solution Fun City, New Government House, and New Governor’s Lodge.
During his visit to Anambra, Tinubu praised Soludo’s governance style, saying, “You are a good thinker, you are a solution provider. We can go places together. Building Nigeria. Building the future. Using technology to build and reflect good governance on the people. Promote investment. We must encourage good governance.”
The President’s praise highlights Soludo’s efforts to drive infrastructure development and promote good governance in Anambra State. Tinubu noted that Soludo’s administration has made significant strides in building institutions and serving the people.
The visit, which marks Tinubu’s first official trip to Anambra State, drew notable attendees, including the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah; and Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.
As the Anambra governorship election approaches, Tinubu’s endorsement of Soludo has sparked interest and speculation about the implications for the ruling party’s chances. Will Soludo’s administration continue to thrive under the All Progressives Congress (APC), or will the party face challenges in the upcoming election? Only time will tell.
