As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu marks his second year in office, the National Council for Civil Society Organisations (NACCSO) and Vision-One Leadership Development Initiative (VOLDI) have commended his leadership and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a press statement signed by Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Johnny, National President of Vision-One Nigeria, the civil society organisations (CSOs) praised President Tinubu’s efforts in addressing security challenges, infrastructure development, education, and human capital development.
“We commend the Nigerian Military and other security agencies for their unwavering commitment to defending the nation’s territorial integrity, security of lives, and property,” the statement read. “Their bravery and selflessness have not gone unnoticed, and we believe that their efforts are crucial to maintaining peace and stability in our great nation.”
The CSOs also commended the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwynn Musa, OFR, for his leadership and vision in repositioning the military for efficiency and professionalism. “His efforts have yielded significant results, and we are confident that the military will continue to uphold its constitutional responsibilities under his leadership,” the statement added.
“We appreciate President Tinubu’s efforts in addressing the security challenges facing our nation. His leadership has demonstrated a clear understanding of the complexities of security in Nigeria, and we believe that his approach will yield long-term benefits for our country,” the statement further read.
The CSOs further commended President Tinubu’s efforts in infrastructure development, education, and human capital development, noting that these initiatives will have a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians and contribute to the country’s economic growth and development.
“As civil society organisations, we assure President Tinubu of our continued support and collaboration. We believe that his leadership has the potential to bring about positive change and transformation in our nation, and we are committed to working with him to achieve his vision for Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
“We call on all Nigerians to join us in commending President Tinubu’s efforts and supporting his administration’s initiatives. Together, we can build a brighter future for our nation and create a more prosperous and secure environment for all Nigerians,” the statement added.
