Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of Labour Party, has again and again demonstrated his commitment to investing in human capital development through education. On a recent visit to Kaduna State, Obi donated a total of ₦20 million to four educational institutions.

The Muhammad Sambo Memorial Islamic Institute, where Obi expressed his support for the school’s efforts.
Madarasatul Hidayyatul Auladi Muslimima Almajiri School in Kawo, which received a donation of ₦5 million. This marks Obi’s fifth visit to the school, highlighting his long-term commitment to their development.
Womenhood College of Health Sciences and Technology, which received ₦5 million in recognition of the institution’s critical role in training and empowering women in health-related fields.
St. Gerald’s College of Nursing Sciences, which received the largest donation of ₦10 million. Obi emphasized the importance of building competent and compassionate nurses.
During his interactions with students, Obi stressed that investing in education and healthcare is crucial for building a secure, productive, and united Nigeria. He emphasized that leadership is not just about titles, but about the positive impact one has on people’s lives.
