The PATRIOTS, in partnership with the Nigerian Political Summit Group (NPSG), has announced the successful conclusion of the National Summit on the Future of Nigeria’s Constitutional Democracy. The summit, which held from Wednesday, July 16 to Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Abuja, brought together Nigeria’s most respected elder statesmen, eminent leaders, ex-governors, national icons, captains of industry, civic leaders, and institutional stakeholders.
Following the formal adoption of summit resolutions on Thursday, Che Olawale Okunniyi, Head of the Summit Joint Secretariat, expressed profound appreciation to all delegates, stakeholders, and participants who contributed to the landmark event. He commended their commitment to advancing a people-driven, democratic future for Nigeria.
In continuation of the summit process, the organisers have scheduled a press conference and communiqué presentation for Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall, NICON LUXURY Hotel, Abuja. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend this event.
According a press release signed by the Summit’s Media Adviser, Comrade James Ezema, the Summit was convened in response to the urgent need to reimagine and reconstruct Nigeria’s constitutional order. Under the leadership of Chief Emeka Anyaoku, GCON, CFR, former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth and Chairman of The PATRIOTS, the summit benefited from the depth, wisdom, and commitment of key national figures and reform-minded leaders.
