Vodi Marks Golden Jubilee in Grand Style

Seyi Vodi, the acclaimed Nigerian fashion designer and founder of Vodi Group, marked a monumental milestone – his Golden Jubilee – celebrating his 50th birthday in grand style. The glittering event took place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja over the weekend. It was indeed a occasion of beautiful blend of fashion, faith, and festivity, drawing an impressive gathering of Nigeria’s elite.

The celebration saw the attendance of notable figures including Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, the Ooni of Ife, entertainment icons like Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Sen Dino Melaye, Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, 2Baba, Peller, Portable, Kate Henshaw, Jide Kosoko, and Sola Sobowale. International guests included former Liberian President George Weah.

The event was an all-white praise party, symbolizing purity and thanksgiving. Gospel singers Tope Alabi and Adeyinka Alaseyori led powerful praise sessions, entertaining the guests with soul-stirring music. In a gesture of celebration, Seyi Vodi gifted himself a 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series 2, worth approximately ₦1.09 billion. The festivities also encompassed youth mentorship events, a staff football competition, and charity outreaches.
