The Labour Party’s candidate for the Anambra South Senatorial bye-election, Hon Chuma Nzeribe, has expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election, citing the support of the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and governorship candidate, Chief George Moghalu, as a game-changer.
Nzeribe, a former House of Representatives member, received his Certificate of Returns as the party’s candidate at the National Headquarters of the Labour Party. He won the primary election with 367 votes, defeating his opponent Anagwu Fredrick Emeka who garnered 213 votes.
