–Makes case for Agunaechemba

The President General, Anambra State Association of Town Unions ( ASATU), Comrade Ken Okoli has commended the effort of the Solution Government in providing security in the state.
Hosting a solidarity rally in support of the government, Okoli called on the people to come together to unite in repositioning the state.
He disclosed that the youths and communities have the right to decide whether the state government is working or not.
“We are here to discuss the issue on ground and express ourselves to Ndị́ Anambra in a solidarity rally in support of the government. We also organised this rally to make our voice to be heard that Operation Udo Ga-Achị and Agunaechemba should remain as part of the security agencies providing solution in our security. “
He added that Agunaechemba is a body saddled with the responsibility of securing the state, and condemned the assult meted on NYSC members, he further commended management for ensuring that those responsible for the physical assault were sanctioned and currently under the police custody.
“We will not take because of errors of some people and disband the operative, but those responsible should face the law.”
According to him, “our brothers in politics should go ahead and concentrate on what they will do for Ndị Anambra and not campaigning for disbandment of Operation Udo Ga-AChi.
” They are making protest to make sure that Operation Udo Ga-Achi should be disbanded before election to make the state ungovernable to enable the state fail in the area of security; for them to manipulate and rig results,” he concluded.
