The Police Service Commission (PSC) has expressed readiness to partner with Radah Media Company in a move aimed at enhancing its strategic communication and leveraging technology to improve its operations.

The development came on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, when the Commission’s management met with a delegation from Radah Media Company, led by its founder, Oge Funlola Modie, who visited to explore opportunities for collaboration that would be mutually beneficial.

According to a press statement signed by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations at the Commission, the PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd, mni), while receiving the team in his office, said the Commission was open to partnerships that would strengthen its constitutional mandate of police recruitment, promotion, and discipline. He stressed that any initiative capable of boosting the efficiency of the Nigeria Police Force, reducing crime, and protecting lives and property would be welcomed by the Commission.

Argungu, however, lamented the challenge of inadequate funding, which he said had continued to limit the professional effectiveness of the Commission. He emphasized that strategic communication was vital and assured that the proposed partnership with Radah Media would help reposition the PSC for improved service delivery.

In her remarks, Ms. Modie explained that the collaboration would include training in strategic communication, technology, and design. She also underscored the importance of adequate funding for the Commission, given the sensitive nature of its mandate. Modie pledged to help advance the narrative for improved funding, noting that such support would ultimately serve the nation’s interest.

The meeting came to a close with optimism that the partnership would provide the PSC with the tools and visibility needed to carry out its responsibilities more effectively.
