It was a moment of grief and solemn reflection in Umunneobi Village, Azigbo, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, as Chief Okeke Patrick Ikechukwu Ubaghalu was laid to rest at his country home.
The Anambra State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, who attended the burial, described the late Ubaghalu as a man who lived a life of service and left behind a legacy of kindness and courage. According to him, “A good man leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who witnessed his brilliance. Your greatness will echo through time.”
Ukachukwu eulogized the deceased as a symbol of compassion, generosity, and resilience, noting that his tireless efforts to make a difference in society would remain unforgettable. “He was a fearless soul who stood tall for what he believed in. His absence will be deeply felt, but his legacy will continue to shine,” Ukachukwu added, praying for God’s guidance and protection upon the bereaved family.
Speaking on behalf of the family, one of the sons of the deceased, an APC stalwart, described his father as a man of integrity and principle, a source of inspiration and hope to many. He said his father’s memory would forever be a blessing to all who knew him.
Late Chief Ubaghalu was remembered as a community leader dedicated to truth, service, and the upliftment of his people.
