Akpabio Urges Nigerians to Embrace Peace, Love, and Unity This Christmas

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Nigerians, particularly Christians, calling on them to promote peace, love, and unity across the nation.
In a message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio urged citizens to embody kindness, generosity, and compassion during the festive season. He emphasized the importance of reaching out to those in need and offering support to the less privileged.
According to a press statement signed by Hon. Eyiboh, the Senate President described Jesus Christ as a model of peace, love, and generosity, noting that the celebration of his birth should be marked by joy and merriment. He encouraged all Nigerians, regardless of faith, to participate in the spirit of the season and to cultivate a culture of tolerance and mutual care.
On behalf of his family, constituents, the Senate, and the entire 10th National Assembly, Akpabio congratulated the Christian faithful and invited citizens of other faiths to join in celebrating the occasion. He also called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast in the face of challenges, praying for the country’s peace, unity, and progress.
The Senate President expressed optimism that Nigeria is moving in the right direction under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCON, urging citizens to continue supporting the government for a better future.
The statement ended with a call for every Nigerian to embrace the values of love and goodwill, not only during Christmas but throughout the year.
