At the groundbreaking ceremony of the University of Public Relations and Leadership (UPRL) in Gudi, Nasarawa State, an important signal was sent on the value of trust, accountability, and prudent governance in public administration.
His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, in the course of his address, publicly described the Accountant-General of the state, Rt. Hon. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, PhD, as one of the most trusted officials within his administration. The governor’s remarks, went beyond ceremonial acknowledgment, emphasizing the strategic role of the Accountant-General in shaping fiscal discipline and responsible financial management in the state.
According to the governor, critical decisions affecting state finances are often taken in close consultation with Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, with a shared commitment to safeguarding public resources and ensuring value for money. This collaborative approach, he said, has helped the state record significant savings and improved efficiency in the management of public funds.
