Musa Harps on Unity, Peace at Atyab Buffet in Zangon Kataf

Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa Rtd, has called on residents of Kaduna State to embrace unity, forgiveness and collective responsibility as essential pillars for lasting peace and sustainable development.
Musa made the call on December 27, 2025, during a reception organised in his honour at the Atyab Buffet in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where he expressed deep appreciation for the warm reception and the continued support and prayers of his people over the years.
He noted that bitterness and division weaken society, while forgiveness and reconciliation strengthen unity, stressing that peace and progress can only be achieved when people focus on shared values and common interests rather than differences. According to him, collective responsibility remains critical to building a peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State.
The Minister of Defence commended Governor Uba Sani for his efforts at sustaining peace across the state, acknowledging the governor’s commitment through his administration, the Governor was represented at the event by the Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe.
General Musa also expressed gratitude to the Paramount Chief of Zangon Kataf Chiefdom, His Royal Highness, Sir Dominic Yahaya Gambo, for his prayers for continued peace and for recognising distinguished sons and daughters of the chiefdom, describing the gesture as encouraging and unifying.
He urged the people to continue prioritising unity, peace and selfless service to Kaduna State and the nation at large, noting that sustained harmony remains vital to national stability and development.
