Some birthdays pass quietly, marked only by family and a few close friends. Others invite a pause because the life being celebrated has touched communities, shaped institutions and influenced the course of public affairs. The birthday of Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (Obarisi) belongs to the latter. It is an occasion for family, friends, political associates and numerous well-wishers to thank God for preserving a leader whose contributions have reached far beyond Delta Central and Delta State, leaving a mark on Nigeria’s democratic journey.
