The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Chapter, has congratulated Dr Femi Lanre-Oke, founder and Senior Presiding Pastor of Jesus Praise Evangelical Ministry International, Abuja, on the church’s 10th anniversary and eighth convention, HEBRON 2026.
The double celebration marks a decade of service to God and humanity, built on excellence, teamwork and commitment to the Christian faith.
In a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Felix Ojo, the Chapel commended the ministry for its contributions to society through its mission centres, His Praise Publishing and Bookshop, scholarships, FLO Leadership Academy, FLO Marriage Seminar, FLO Mentorship Programme and Davidstone School of Ministry.
Other initiatives include the Still Waters Foundation, social empowerment outreaches, business grants, Staystrong conferences, TED Women Initiative, conventions, and counselling and mentorship programmes.
The Chapel noted that these programmes had touched many lives and helped prepare a new generation of Nigerian leaders for responsible service.
It also praised the determination behind the ministry’s growth from a family gathering into a global outreach, noting its work in promoting moral values, shaping character and equipping young leaders to make a difference in their families, ministries, workplaces and society.
The Chapel identified with the ministry’s vision of a church that serves the people, especially the oppressed, discouraged, overlooked, rejected and disadvantaged, by offering relief, hope and comfort to those in need.
It also thanked Dr Lanre-Oke and the ministry for their cooperation with journalists over the years and their concern for the welfare of members of the profession.
The NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel wished Dr Lanre-Oke and the entire congregation a memorable anniversary and a successful HEBRON 2026 convention, expressing confidence that the ministry would build on its achievements and reach more people through its spiritual, educational and humanitarian work.
