Newscount Magazine has presented to Chief Dr. Oby Promise Ajih, a prominent politician, humanitarian and philanthropist of repute an Outstanding Promising Amazon Award.
During the presentation over the weekend in Abuja, the Publisher of Newscount: Mr Chukwudi Ozalla described Dr Oby Ajih as a virtuous woman with heart of gold who delights in reaching out to as many people as possible in her quest for a better, healthier and decent society for all, Mr Ozalla remarked that it was solely Dr Ajih’s worthy passion, compassion and unquenchable desire for bigger platform to touch more lives that earned her the outstanding award, reiterating that Dr Ajih will surely fly higher in her noble endeavour.
He further stated that her commendable antecedents which has spanned over the years cannot be over-emphasized.
Dr. Ajih who was visibly elated expressed gratitude and joy to the Management and Staff of Newscount for considering her worthy for such an honour, she said that the award will only spur her to continue to do more in the area of touching both lives and service to humanity through her Foundation.
She promised to partner with Newscount in all her people-oriented activities.
Dr Oby Promise Ajih is an accomplished Medical Practitioner and a politician who has impacted so many lives in her medical outreach and other philantropic activities, she contested for the House of Representatives seat during the last election under All Progressives Congress APC (Udenu/Igbo Eze North Federal Constituency of Enugu State).
Highlights of the event was presentation of the award and group photographs with the recipient.
