A former frontline House of Representatives contestant in Enugu State, Hon. Dr. Oby Ajih has expressed sadness over the passing on of Late Senator Ayogu Eze whom she described as an astute politician, forthright leader and trail blazer.
Dr. Ajih further described Late Senator Eze as a detribalized patriotic Nigerian who represented his people very well while serving the nation as a legislator and in other various capacities as well- stating that his demise has indeed created a vacuum that will be too difficult to fill.
“Senator Ayogu Eze was our political leader, a brother; because we hail from the same town and zone and he has provided enviable leadership model for us to emulate, I shall sorely miss his unflinching guidance, support and wise counsels, his great legacies will continue to exist”. Dr. Ajih stated.
Dr. Ajih prayed for the repose of the soul of Senator Eze and for God Almighty to grant his family, friends and relatives the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
