The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Delu Bulus Yakubu, visited Nizamiye Hospital Abuja to assess the hospital’s healthcare services, identify areas of need, and provide support to enhance the well-being of vulnerable populations.
On 4/8/2024 Hon. Delu Bulus Yakubu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, visited Nizamiye Hospital Abuja as part of her ongoing efforts to support vulnerable populations and alleviate poverty.
During the visit, Hon. Yakubu met with hospital management and medical staff to discuss the challenges they face in providing quality healthcare services. She also toured the hospital facilities to assess the condition of equipment, infrastructure, and patient care.
The main purpose of the visit was to:
- Assess the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to vulnerable populations
- Identify areas of need and provide support to enhance healthcare delivery
- Strengthen partnerships between the government and private healthcare providers to improve access to healthcare services
- Demonstrate the Federal Government’s commitment to alleviating poverty and improving the well-being of vulnerable populations
Hon. Yakubu expressed her appreciation for the hospital’s efforts in providing quality healthcare services and pledged to support their initiatives. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies, private sector organizations, and civil society to address the healthcare needs of vulnerable populations.
The visit underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to improving healthcare services and alleviating poverty in Nigeria.
