Assistant Comptroller General of Customs (ACG), Charles Orbih, visited the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Area Command on Wednesday, 27 March 2025, emphasizing the importance of synergy between the Command and stakeholders, as well as diligence amongst officers.
During the visit, ACG Orbih observed that the success of their mandates depends heavily on seamless collaboration. He assured officers that challenges confronting the Command would be escalated to the Headquarters for necessary action.¹
The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Joy Edelduok, welcomed ACG Orbih and presented a report highlighting the Command’s achievements. Despite low trade volume, the Command generated ₦35.2 billion in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 51% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
