In a bid to etch his name in the annals of history, Nigerian journalist Livinus Chibuike Victor is pushing the limits of endurance and dedication in a record-breaking attempt for the longest interviewing marathon. With the theme “Nigeria our strength,” Victor aims to break the current Guinness World Record of 55 hours and 24 seconds, set by Chizoba Clara Kronborg in Marbella, Spain, earlier this year.
Victor’s ambitious target is 72 hours and 30 minutes, a feat that will undoubtedly test his physical and mental resilience. The Abuja-based journalist began his grueling challenge on Friday, April 17, at Harrow Park Golf Club, off Ahmadu Bello Way, behind Abia House, and is expected to finish on Sunday, April 20, 2025.
As Victor engages in non-stop interviewing stunt, he is not only vying for a world record but also promoting press freedom and highlighting the importance of a robust media in shaping national discourse. His determination and perseverance have drawn admiration from colleagues and well-wishers, who eagerly await the outcome of this remarkable endeavor.
