The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State is gearing up for a grand reception of Governor Umo Bassey Eno into the party. The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
The APC has announced that the event will be attended by top government officials, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and governors of the party. Other dignitaries expected to attend include national assembly members and party stalwarts from across Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
A Central Planning Committee (CPC) has been constituted to ensure the success of the event, with Prince Enobong Uwah as chairman, Arc. Ubokutom Nyah as deputy chairman, and Hon. Frank Archibong as secretary. The party has urged its faithful to turn out in large numbers for the landmark event.
