A tragic incident has occurred in Abuja where a lady identified as Aldi Johnson was found dead in a hotel. According to eyewitnesses, Johnson checked into the hotel on Monday night with an unidentified young man.
The hotel cleaner discovered her body on Tuesday morning after knocking on the door several times without receiving a response. The police were alerted, and upon investigation, they found that the lady’s hands were tied to her back and her mouth was covered with a cloth.
The FCT Police Command has confirmed the incident and identified the victim as Aladi Offikwu Johnson, also known as Tessy, from Benue State. Preliminary investigations revealed that Johnson checked into the hotel with an unidentified male who later exited the premises without her.
The police have taken Johnson’s body to the morgue and are conducting further investigations. The Commissioner of Police has urged the public to remain calm and allow the police to carry out a comprehensive inquiry.
The police also advised young ladies to exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar individuals and to share their whereabouts with trusted friends or family members for safety purposes.
