The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Dr. Leon Usigbe, Abuja Bureau Chief of the Nigerian Tribune, at the State House Press Gallery. During his visit, Adeniyi signed the condolence register, describing Dr. Usigbe as “a seasoned professional who carried out his duties with rare depth, integrity, and commitment to the ideals of journalism.”
Adeniyi, a long-time advocate for media engagement and institutional transparency, was visibly moved during the visit, stating, “We have lost a giant in the media landscape.
