Distinguished Senator Tony Nwoye of the Labour Party, representing Anambra North Senatorial District, has appointed Mrs. Azuka as Senior Special Adviser on Special Duties. This appointment is seen as a good gesture for Mrs. Azuka’s resilience and dedication.
Mrs. Azuka, the widow of the late Anambra State House of Assembly member who was tragically slain, recently contested in the Anambra North by-election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) but was defeated by APGA’s Mimi Azikiwe. Despite the electoral setback, Senator Nwoye’s appointment of Mrs. Azuka to this key role is a recognition of her commitment to serving the people.
As Senior Special Adviser on Special Duties, Mrs. Azuka is expected to bring her experience and expertise to support Senator Nwoye’s initiatives and projects in Anambra North Senatorial District. This appointment is a welcome development, and many are eager to see the impact of her new role.
