PSC Warns Against Fake Police Recruitment Advert

By George Ozalla

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has issued a warning to prospective applicants for the Nigeria Police Force recruitment exercise, stating that it has not yet commenced the process for 2025.

According to the Commission, an online advertorial claiming to announce the commencement of the exercise is “fictitious and diversionary.” The PSC disowns the advert and advises interested Nigerian youths to exercise patience and allow due process.

The Commission assures that it will soon commence the recruitment exercise with an official announcement bearing its footprint. Prospective applicants are warned against scammers and advised to wait for the official announcement.

According to Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, the PSC is committed to organizing a credible, transparent, and equitable recruitment exercise. The Commission reiterates its warning to “disgruntled characters” to desist from interfering with the process.

The PSC will make an official announcement when the recruitment exercise is ready to commence.
