It was an atmosphere of deep sorrow and reflection as family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers gathered in Umuonaga Village, Awka, Anambra State, to bid farewell to the late Chief Kenneth Osita Agbata, fondly known as Chinyeleugo.

The Agbata family, visibly grief-stricken, described the deceased as a man of rare character — kindhearted, hardworking, and peace-loving. Speaking on behalf of the family, his brothers, Hon. Alex Chinwuko and Chief Peter Chinwuko, eulogized their late brother, recalling his humility and dedication to family and community values.

“Our brother tried his best to live, but the cold hands of death snatched him away from us,” they lamented. “We appreciate his wife, who stood by him during his trying moments. We pray that the soul of Kenneth finds eternal peace in the bosom of the Lord.”

In a show of solidarity, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for the 2025 Anambra State election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, attended the burial to commiserate with the bereaved family. While consoling them, Ukachukwu urged the family to take solace in the good life their brother lived and the legacy he left behind.

“Your brother was part of us,” Ukachukwu said. “His wife’s steadfastness shows she was deeply devoted, and that reflects the goodness of the man she stood by. We came here to show solidarity and oneness with your family during this moment of grief.”

Moved by his presence and comforting words, the Agbata family appreciated Ukachukwu’s compassion and prayed for his success in the forthcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election in Anambra State.

The burial of Chief Kenneth Agbata, described as a “pillar of peace and kindness,” left many in tears, as his memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
