The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2025 Anambra State election, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has reaffirmed his commitment to faith-based and people-oriented leadership, promising to bring transformative development to the state if elected.

Prince Ukachukwu made this pledge during his visit to Saint Albert Catholic Church, Odume Obosi, where he worshipped with parishioners and interacted with the congregation. He was warmly received by the parish priest, Rev. Father Augustine Obiosa, and members of the church community.

In his homily, Rev. Father Obiosa encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast in their faith, especially during challenging times. He welcomed Prince Ukachukwu and his team, emphasizing that the church is always open to supporting leaders who demonstrate humility, service, and a shared commitment to community values.

Addressing the congregation, Prince Ukachukwu expressed gratitude for the warm reception and underscored the central role of faith in his personal and political life. He pledged to support the church and partner with religious leaders in promoting moral and social development across Anambra State.

“I am deeply grateful for the love and hospitality shown to me here today,” he said. “If given the opportunity to serve as your governor, I will work tirelessly to make Anambra a peaceful, prosperous, and united state where every citizen can thrive.”

Ukachukwu outlined his development plans, promising to address critical infrastructure and social challenges, including pipe-borne water, electricity, security, power plant installation, financial inclusion, and job creation. He emphasized his vision for a thriving agricultural sector that would boost food security, create employment, and stimulate the local economy.

“I will partner with the Federal Government to drive positive change that will yield impactful outcomes for our people,” Ukachukwu assured.

In their response, leaders of the church and APC representatives expressed confidence in Ukachukwu’s leadership potential. The APC Idemili North Local Government Chairman, Chief Charles Obadike, and the Vice Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Orji Ikechukwu, pledged the congregation’s massive support for his candidacy.

According to Chief Obadike, “Prince Ukachukwu’s leadership will bring hope to the poor, opportunities for the youth, dignity to families, and unity to our dear Anambra State. We recognise that leadership, especially political leadership, is not an easy road—it is a call to selfless service, sacrifice, and dedication to the well-being of all.”

The event ended on a high note, with parishioners cheering and praying for Ukachukwu’s success as he continues his campaign rooted in faith, service, and genuine commitment to the people of Anambra State.
