The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2025 election in Anambra State, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, received a warm reception from the people of Ojoto and Oba communities in Idemili South Local Government Area during his campaign visit over the weekend.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Ukachukwu’s Chief of Staff, Barr. Kingsley Ezekielu, called on the people to throw their full support behind the APC, assuring them that the party’s leadership would bring genuine development, prosperity, and transformation to the state.

A member of the Ezekielu family, Pastor Sunday, led a special prayer session for Ukachukwu, declaring that his emergence signaled divine intervention in Anambra’s political landscape. “God has brought him to liberate Anambra State from its current problems,” he proclaimed, drawing loud cheers from the congregation.

In his address, Prince Ukachukwu reiterated his commitment to economic transformation and inclusive governance, promising to harness the state’s natural resources for the benefit of all. He pledged to convert the natural gas deposits in Omasi, Ayamelum Local Government Area, into a viable source of energy to power industries, reduce electricity tariffs, and provide affordable gas for low-income earners.

Ukachukwu also assured farmers of access to soft loans, improved security, and other forms of support aimed at strengthening food production and achieving food security in the state.

In a bold promise that drew attention, Ukachukwu vowed to facilitate the release of a popular native doctor, Chidozie Nwangwu, also known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, who has been in detention since February over allegations of promoting get-rich-quick practices and preparing charms for criminals. He emphasized that justice and fairness would be cornerstones of his administration if elected.

The APC candidate continues his campaign tour across Anambra, sharing his vision for a new era of economic growth, youth empowerment, and accountable leadership.
