Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value,” Albert Einstein once said. The above-stated thought perfectly captures the life of Barrister Oluwaseyi Tinubu , fondly called “City Boy,” who clocks 40 today. He represents a rare blend of grace, humility, and generosity that transcends the privileges of his background. As he marks this milestone, his friends and associates, inspired by his unwavering faith and humanity, chose to honour him in a most remarkable way — through the launch of the One Million Holy Bible Project, a faith-driven initiative aimed at spreading the gospel and moral revival across the country.

The project, unveiled at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, was coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN). According to Enwere, the gesture was inspired by Seyi Tinubu’s values of humility, compassion, and service to humanity. He explained that the initiative was not conceived merely as a birthday tribute but as a symbolic extension of Seyi’s ideals — promoting faith, unity, and moral consciousness among Nigerian youths through the distribution of Bibles to churches and communities nationwide.

The thanksgiving service, officiated by Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, featured prayers and worship sessions dedicated to Seyi Tinubu, his family, and the nation. The event attracted dignitaries including the APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel; Director-General of SMEDAN, Charles Odii; former National Secretary of YOWICAN, Ambassador Solomon Omaivboje; Emma Bawa, who also serves as Seyi Tinubu’s protocol officer; and the FCT Secretary of YOWICAN. In a goodwill message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed profound gratitude to his friends, organisers, and all participants for the thoughtful gesture. He reaffirmed his strong belief in the power of faith, moral education, and spiritual growth as foundations for responsible leadership and national progress, describing the Holy Bible as a timeless compass for guiding both personal and collective conscience.

Seyi Tinubu is a man whose humility disarms even the proudest of hearts. Known for his habit of genuflecting to greet his elders, gesture he often extend to his peers, he exemplifies respect in its purest and most graceful form. He does not consider status or power when dealing with people; his humility is natural, not rehearsed. His presence at any gathering commands admiration and liveliness — the atmosphere instantly brightens when he walks in. His charisma radiates warmth, yet it is his quiet kindness that leaves a lasting impression. He finds happiness in seeing others smile and is known to go out of his way to help people from all walks of life. His generosity is steady and silent; he gives not for applause but from a heart that genuinely cares.

Among friends, Seyi is the symbol of loyalty and understanding. He values genuine friendship and invests time and attention in people. Many who know him closely describe him as someone who listens with intention, acts with sincerity, and stands firmly by his word. His composure and deep sense of gratitude, despite the privileges of his upbringing, mark him out as one who truly understands what it means to carry responsibility with grace. During the intense political campaigns that culminated in the election of his father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Seyi was everywhere — visible, determined, and tireless. He mobilized the youth, bridged communication gaps, and showed leadership through courage and conviction. His meticulous attention to detail, calm disposition under pressure, and unwavering faith in the cause were striking examples of his leadership maturity.

Seyi Tinubu’s articulation and foresight have earned him the respect of many, especially within the youth population. He is not one to seek the spotlight, yet he cannot avoid it because of the magnetic presence that surrounds him. This was evident when he made a surprise appearance at the Nest Resource Center during the “Uncommon Conversation with Uncommon Leader,” a youth engagement event featuring Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The moment he arrived, the hall erupted with excitement as young people surged forward, eager to greet him. It took some effort to manage the crowd that formed instantly around him — a clear cut indication of the affection and admiration he commands among his peers.

It is remarkable how Seyi Tinubu balances charisma with purpose. As he turns 40, his thoughts are not centered on revelry but on renewal — on how best to expand his reach in service and leadership. Friends say he is already gearing up for bigger roles that will further test his capacity to lead, unify, and inspire. For him, leadership is not about titles or power but about accessibility and responsibility — about being a light that guides others and a pillar that holds people up in trying times. Those who work with him often describe him as a bridge between generations, a man who carries both the wisdom of the elders and the energy of the youth. His life is a reflection of what dedication, faith, and compassion can produce when channeled toward the common good.

Seyi Tinubu’s journey to 40 tells the story of a man who has embraced service as his calling. His calm demeanor hides a fiercely determined spirit. He is thoughtful, focused, and deliberate in everything he does, yet never loses the human touch. People who meet him often leave with the impression that they have encountered someone truly special — a man who combines intellect with heart, and ambition with empathy. As he celebrates this landmark birthday, he stands not only as a beloved son of the President but as an accomplished man in his own right — one who continues to define success through the lives he uplifts, the opportunities and smiles he creates.
