The above-stated thought perfectly captures the life of Barrister Oluwaseyi Tinubu , fondly called “City Boy,” who clocks 40 today. As he marks this milestone, his friends and associates, inspired by his unwavering faith and humanity, chose to honour him in a most remarkable way — through the launch of the One Million Holy Bible Project, a faith-driven initiative aimed at spreading the gospel and moral revival across the country.
The project, unveiled at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, was coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN). According to Enwere, the gesture was inspired by Seyi Tinubu’s values of humility, compassion, and service to humanity. He explained that the initiative was not conceived merely as a birthday tribute but as a symbolic extension of Seyi’s ideals — promoting faith, unity, and moral consciousness among Nigerian youths through the distribution of Bibles to churches and communities nationwide.
The thanksgiving service, officiated by Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, featured prayers and worship sessions dedicated to Seyi Tinubu, his family, and the nation. The event attracted dignitaries including the APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel; Director-General of SMEDAN, Charles Odii; former National Secretary of YOWICAN, Ambassador Solomon Omaivboje; Emma Bawa, who also serves as Seyi Tinubu’s protocol officer; and the FCT Secretary of YOWICAN. In a goodwill message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed profound gratitude to his friends, organisers, and all participants for the thoughtful gesture. He reaffirmed his strong belief in the power of faith, moral education, and spiritual growth as foundations for responsible leadership and national progress, describing the Holy Bible as a timeless compass for guiding both personal and collective conscience.
