Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Nwoye, joined the people of Nkwelle Ezunaka as they marked their Town Youth Day Celebration. According to DTN Media, the senator was warmly received by age grades, town union executives, and community stakeholders.
During the event, Senator Nwoye extended his greetings and commended the community for their continued support. He expressed gratitude to the people of Nkwelle Ezunaka for their votes and backing during the 2023 general election, particularly alongside Mr Peter Obi.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Nwoye applauded the creativity, entrepreneurial drive, and active participation of the youth in democratic processes. He emphasized his ongoing commitment to youth development through empowerment initiatives, skills acquisition, and leadership mentorship programs. The senator urged the younger generation to remain focused, patriotic, and committed to excellence, stating, “The future belongs to you, take charge of it with integrity and courage.”
Senator Nwoye also pledged further infrastructural development for the community, including improved roads and solar-powered street lights, alongside financial support for youth initiatives.
