PANDEF Felicitates Tonlagha at 50, Hails His Life of Purpose

The Pan-Niger Delta Forum has congratulated the Chief Executive Officer of Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, Engr. Mathew Tonlagha, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, describing his life as one marked by resilience, grace and impactful service to society.
The message was conveyed in a congratulatory letter signed by the National Chairman of PANDEF, Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, and made public following the birthday celebration which took place last Sunday.
In the letter, Igali said the milestone was worthy of celebration, noting that attaining the age of 50 in good health and sound mind reflected divine preservation and uncommon favour. He described Tonlagha’s life journey as inspiring, adding that it stood as evidence of consistency, courage and purposeful living.
The PANDEF chairman commended Tonlagha’s professional achievements and his contributions to national development, particularly through engineering, entrepreneurship and support for community-based causes in the Niger Delta. He noted that Tonlagha’s rise in spite of early life challenges had become a source of encouragement to many, especially young people striving to succeed against the odds.
Igali further prayed for continued strength, wisdom and greater accomplishments for the Maton Engineering boss, expressing confidence that the years ahead would bring even broader opportunities for service and impact.
Engr. Tonlagha, a renowned engineer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, has built a reputation for enterprise, job creation and sustained support for empowerment initiatives across the Niger Delta, making him a respected figure in both professional and community circles.
