The Salvation Army Abuja Central Corps Celebrates Women’s Empowerment

The Salvation Army Abuja Central Corps is set to celebrate the faith, fellowship, and service of its women members at the upcoming Home League Sunday ceremony. The event, themed “Empowering Women to Impact Communities: Exploring Strategies to Support Women’s Empowerment for Sustainable Growth and Development,” will take place on September 7, 2025, at 9 a.m. at the Salvation Army Abuja Central Corps.

The ceremony aims to celebrate the spiritual growth and dedication of Home League members, recognize the impact of their service and outreach efforts, foster fellowship and community among members, and explore strategies to empower women and promote sustainable growth and development in their communities.

Renowned speakers will share inspirational messages on women’s empowerment and community impact. Her Excellency Amb. Mrs. Regina Edzuwah will speak on the theme, while Dr. Sochi N. Ezeife will discuss women’s health and longevity. Her Excellency Mrs. Margaret Udoh will also share insights on agricultural activities for economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs.

The event will feature special music and worship, recognition of Home League members and achievements, and discussions on empowering women for sustainable growth and development. Led by Chairman Her Excellency Ugoeze Grace O. Ezeife, the ceremony will also be attended by Leader/Pastor Lt. Alice Nkpoidet Corps Officer, Secretary Chief Mrs. Vessel Linda Egboluche, and Treasurer ACCA Inemesit.
