The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Hon. Delu Bulus Yakubu, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Nigeria, His Excellency Moha Ou Ali Tagma, at the Moroccan Embassy in Abuja.
According to a press statement signed by Khalipha Abdulrahman Isah, Personal Assistant, New Media, Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, the visit was aimed at discussing crucial bilateral projects between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, focusing on humanitarian service delivery and poverty reduction.
Receiving the presidential aide, Ambassador Tagma, accompanied by his Deputy Head of Mission and other Embassy officials, expressed delight in hosting Hon. Yakubu and emphasized that the discussions would further strengthen the existing diplomatic friendship between the two nations.
The meeting centered on upcoming humanitarian projects jointly initiated by Nigeria and Morocco, underscoring the importance of collaborative, cross-border approaches to addressing humanitarian challenges in Africa.
The visit reaffirms Nigeria’s growing partnership with Morocco in tackling shared socio-economic challenges, especially in the areas of humanitarian assistance, social protection, and poverty alleviation.
